Recently, the company that I was working at got acquired, and many employees, including me, were let go. I had to exit Singapore with my family if I did not find another job in time. I reached out to many people and had many interviews, but I kept getting rejected. I started wondering what was wrong and why it was not happening.

At the same time, I had to change my accommodations as the landlord didn't agree to extend the contract. We prayed together as a family and believed that God would not leave nor forsake us in this situation.

After three months of active searching and trying hard in interviews, I ran out of leads. I was ready to take up any job, but nothing worked out for me. It was all dry, and I couldn't see any light ahead. Fear started building along with scary thoughts. I had sleepless nights, and my energy was low during the days.

During this period, I kept listening to sermons by Pastor Prince. I realised I had not relied on God's grace and favour. So, I changed my prayer from "God, please provide" to "God has already provided", and all I needed to do was to claim His promises. I started proclaiming God’s truth over facts and that God is our provider.

One day, I woke up and found a job posting online. There was no mutual friend or connection, and I didn't know the person who posted the job as he was based in the United States. I prayed and emailed him that I was interested in this job. The same day the person replied that he wanted to speak to me, and we spoke the next day.

After the conversation, he told me he liked me and had me speak with the global head, who also said the same thing. In the end, they decided to hire me. It was a casual talk and not like an interview, and everything happened very smoothly within one week.

I couldn't believe what was happening. It was indeed a kairos moment for me and a miracle in itself; as we know, hiring doesn't happen so fast anywhere, in any industry.

I started work a few months ago in a more prominent role than I previously had. Glory to God for His unmerited, undeserved favour.
